Our portfolio: projects and initiatives.

🏫 Tütorix

Co-led by 2 students interested in streamlining the process of peer tutoring at a bilingual school, this project strives to simplify peer-tutoring. Tütorix is a web platform designed and built solely by sophomore students at the Paris Jeannine Manuel School to connect students with peer-tutors within their own school. Using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Bootstrap, and various graphic design tools, the Tütorix team works towards building a web platform marked by its ease-of-use and smooth user experience that successfully simplifies the process of peer-tutoring.

🧺 Community clothing line

This project, also co-led by sophomores, works towards bringing awareness to pressing social issues by collecting stories and voices from the community and transforming them into unique t-shirt designs. All profits collected from selling these chic t-shirt are then donated to local charities.

🧺 Ghana laptop project

Done in collaboration with the Paris based association Koh-Ed, this project works towards sending laptops loaded with educational content (such as Khan Academy, African Storybook, Hello Channel, Wikipedia, CrashCourse, etc) to rural villages in Ghana. So far, this project has collected 15 laptops installed with educational software and plans to send these devices to Ghana on a service trip in July 2019.

🗨️ 9 hour social innovation workshop

On Saturday June 8th, 2019, Intrinsic hosted its inaugural Social Innovation Workshop at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris, inviting students ages 15 to 17 from around Paris. This workshop, with a main focus on education, aimed towards brainstorming and ultimately implementing solutions to "Goal 4: Quality Education" of the United Nation's Sustainability Development Goal. This workshop culminated in 2 projects: one focusing on loading laptops with educational software and the other with an aim of designing an easily-implementable entrepreneurship and empowerment curriculum for adolescents worldwide.

😜 Global social innovation incubators

As an effort to promote international collaboration (Goal 17 of UN's Sustainable Development Goals), Intrinsic's leadership team strives towards establishing social innovation incubators at schools worldwide. So far, Intrinsic has successfully established a social innovation incubator in Paris' 15th arrondissement and is in the process of establishing incubators in Ghana, Taiwan, the U.S., and China. Ultimately, Intrinsic hopes to encourage members of incubators worldwide to collaborate and innovate together.
